The beginner Obedience is a leash work class designed to foster good manners. The class meets for 1 hour per week for 8 weeks and requires an additional 20 minutes of homework per day for success. Socialization and problem solving as well as the basics are included. Focus, heel, an automatic sit with patience, stand, down, stay, and come are taught on leash with repetition, cues and praise. NO FOOD is used in the training.
Beginning with an intense review of all on-leash work covered in the beginners class, we move on to basics for getting your dog off-leash and reliable.
